Thanks for this, it will help a lot of people to process as their grieving unfolds to reveal that truth. We very much feel that Gordon is alive.

I feel very much his alivness and as if a spark has been ignited. Like a challenge, am I living fully? Am i doing the Work that is mine to do? No slacking now, let's finish the star play, let's get to Work with a capital W, the joyous magical work I came to earth to do.

Insightful, economical, moving. Neither platitudinal nor overly decorative. Summing up the totality of a person who has passed is impossible but imo you sketched an exploded view drawing of Gordon's animating pulse very well here.

Most importantly, it was a very fitting tribute to a very worthy person. You should take the same satisfaction in this piece that Gordon did in his edification of others. This will be healing for many who find it.

Well done, Rev. I particularly like this: "Consider the death metaphysics of an early or sudden death, in which the potency of the spirit of the deceased is dramatically bolstered by the potential energy of the remainder of their life yet un-lived."

This is wonderful, it resonates so much with my thinking and my path. Thank you for writing this, I couldn't agree more with your understanding of Gordon's ability as a teacher. He was exactly that for me too, he made me better as a magician and a person.

Thank you so much for this. The well of my own grief — (crying in yoga?! Explaining the days long candle to my husband) — took me aback given I did not know Gordon. As the days pass I’m seeing it in his own words — grief as praise. Thank you for reminding he is still with us - via his compendious online Alexandria’s library to his role as a new & mighty ancestor for us all. Lovely tribute.

I didn't know Gordon. I read one of his books and found some of the ideas interesting. What strikes me though in seeing the various tributes is that he clearly cared about the magical community and in turn the people who were touched cared about him as well. I really respect that. Thank you for sharing.

This was truly comforting! But I also agree with others that it feels like a spark has been ignited. What to do with that feeling?

It feels like the era in which we will most need his advice is just beginning, lifting off into reality just as he lifts off from his mortal body...
